- I have over three decades experience as a Registered Nurse spanning a wide variety of nursing specialties for both adults and children. I am an experienced Deputy Director of Nursing and Quality with a wide portfolio of responsibility across clinical, operational and quality functions including service delivery, quality assurance, safeguarding and infection prevention. I understand how commissioning works and how that impacts the care patients receive.

I am passionate about promoting high quality patient care and I understand the appropriate governance which should surround every policy and care intervention. Getting it right first time is important to me — as is ensuring that organisations learn from mistakes and embed an ethos of openness and transparency.
