EXPERT WITNESS SERVICES, DELIVERED WITH CARE

Loss of Service Reports

Investigating the impact on the care and support of others

DETAILED ANALYSIS, INDEPENDENT RECOMMENDATION

What is a Loss of Service Report?

After severe injury or accidental death, there can be a range of knock-on effects. If that person was responsible for supporting or caring for others - whether it’s children, family members or other dependents - that ongoing care provision needs to be considered, replicated and replaced.

The report covers:

  • Home or virtual assessment
  • Impartial and professional evaluation of any services or care the claimant provided
  • The impact of the current situation and the strategies in place
  • Evaluation of how to provide any ongoing care, support and services

Your expert witness will look forwards as well as backwards, analysing evidence and supporting documents such as witness statements and historic records before evaluating which services the claimant could and would have provided in the future.

DETAILED ANALYSIS, INDEPENDENT RECOMMENDATION

Understand the ongoing impact of a loss of service with impartial expertise

When past, current and ongoing care factors into a report, that report has to be provided by an expert who understands how care is and should be provided. We’ll help you to find an expert with both the right background and the appropriate expertise.

The report you receive will explore all of the relevant care and service issues, including (but not limited to):

  • Where one or more of the dependents (adult or child) has a disability
  • Loss of childcare and/or gratuitous family care
  • Development of an industrial illness affecting the ability to provide services
  • Delay in diagnosis in respect of the deceased (and where past care also requires valuation)
  • Personal care
  • Mobility
  • Psychological care
  • Nutrition and food preparation
  • Household chores and cleaning
  • Management of medication and treatments
  • Personal administration and financial management
  • Gardening services
  • Decorating services
  • Household maintenance
  • Domestic services
