Colin has been actively involved as a practitioner, teacher, manager and policy consultant in social care, healthcare and education since 1975.

Colin’s nursing background has focused upon the needs of vulnerable and marginal groups within society including people with disabilities and autism, prisoners and patients in high security services, as well as people who have suffered catastrophic injuries. His work in rehabilitation and enablement has included experience in policy development at national level as well as direct person-centered care for individuals and families. This work has taken him across the UK and Europe, with a particular involvement in services in Romania.

Colin has worked as a Care Expert since 2005 when he completed the Bond Solon course and he has been instructed by both Defendant and Claimant in over 800 cases. Colin has regularly given evidence in Court throughout that time.
