Occupational therapists support individuals in regaining or maintaining the ability to carry out everyday tasks. Their goal is to promote independence, improve quality of life, and enable meaningful daily activity.
Our expert witnesses include experienced occupational therapists who have worked in NHS, private, hospital, and community settings. They provide Care, Aids and Equipment reports for both claimant and defendant instructions – including joint instructions – in complex injury or disability cases with multiple care needs.
Our registered general nurses (RGNs), including prescribing nurses, bring a wide range of experience from across different healthcare settings and multi-disciplinary teams.
Each nurse is fully qualified, professionally registered, and able to report on standards of nursing care, past and future care needs, aids and equipment, risk management, and acceptable practice. They produce both Care, Aids and Equipment and Liability reports for single or joint instructions.
Mental health nurses provide care and support to individuals experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. Many of our mental health expert witnesses also specialise in learning disabilities like ADHD and ADD, and have experience in complex cases involving vulnerable individuals, sex workers, sex offenders, and asylum seekers.
All our mental health experts are highly knowledgeable about the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
