I wanted to be a nurse because of my Mum. She was a nurse, and I cared for her when she was terminally ill with cancer at the age of 15. This is how I got into Oncology and Palliative care nursing. After my personal experience, I have always strived to deliver the highest quality of care to patients and their families.
I am very thorough, diligent, and meticulously attentive to detail. I have always preferred one-on-one nursing, where I could give the gold standard of care I wanted. My challenge was working in busy NHS hospitals, where I could not deliver that care.I remain very passionate about nursing standards.
I have gained vast experience in different areas of expertise and have now nursed in complex care settings for over 6 years, enjoying the one-to-one nursing I love.
